The Lisina Complex stands out as a separately valuable unit proclaimed a “Park Forest - a Protected Landscape” for several reasons. With its prominent position, it makes a significant element in the landscape image of the wider area. It is characterized by a diversity of plant communities and morphological forms. Traditionally (though unorganized) it is used as a destination for hikers, hikers and hunters. It is located in close proximity to the city's large metropolitan area, as well as significant tourist facilities and roads.

The complex also has a cottage village, a mountain hut and a hunting lodge, and the entire area is accessible to traffic and has a developed network of forest roads and forest tractor trains.


The Lisina area covers about 14 km² of space in k.o. The bell and k.o. Gornji Rukavac, predominantly forested areas (98%) mainly state-owned. Emphasis is placed on the protective, health, educational, tourism and sports - recreational functions of the area, while maintaining the forest - economic and hunting - economic functions to the extent that they do not conflict with the primary functions.
